COPPER RIVER TECHNOLOGIES ACHIEVES PALO ALTO NETWORKS NEXTWAVE TRAPS SPECIALIZATION

NextWave Traps Specialization Granted to Copper River Technologies for Building Advanced Endpoint Security Expertise and Business Practice

Chantilly, VA April 16, 2018 – Copper River Technologies, a leader in delivering advanced IT solutions and services for Cyber Security, Cloud, Mobility, and Enterprise Architecture requirements, today announced they have officially earned their Palo Alto Networks® NextWave Traps™ Specialization. This coveted and elite specialization is awarded specifically to Palo Alto Networks NextWave channel partners who have demonstrated the required expertise to successfully demo, sell, implement and support the Palo Alto Networks advanced endpoint protection offering.

The endpoint security market is at a key inflection point. Against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving threat landscape, where cyberattacks targeting the endpoint continue to increase in frequency, variety and sophistication, most organizations deploy a collection of legacy endpoint security products, along with antivirus, to protect their endpoints. However, this outdated approach does not effectively prevent successful cyberattacks.

Palo Alto Networks Traps advanced endpoint protection replaces legacy antivirus and secures endpoints with a multi-method prevention approach that blocks malware and exploits, both known and unknown, before they compromise Windows® or macOS® endpoints, such as laptops, desktops and servers. In recent third-party, independent tests by AV-TEST, Traps scored 100 percent in real-time detection and achieved the highest performance. Using Traps, coupled with Copper River Technologies expertise, customers can benefit from next-generation endpoint protection to prevent cyber breaches.

“Becoming a Palo Alto Networks Traps Specialized partner further solidifies our commitment to protect and defend our customer’s most precious asset – their data – against today’s rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape. Palo Alto Networks continues to push the boundaries of this market with their revolutionary approach to network security and their Traps endpoint solution is no different. We are excited to be providing our customers exceptional security prevention and protection.” – Jennifer Keating, President, Copper River Technologies

“We are redefining the endpoint security market together with our Traps Specialized partners by providing them with an educational and technical advantage to address a multibillion-dollar opportunity. This program is designed to increase partner familiarity with Traps and meet the demand for truly next-generation endpoint security as part of the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform.” – Ron Myers, senior vice president, Worldwide Channels, Palo Alto Networks
